We live close & always drive by here; finally decided to try their food. It was absolutely delicious! We got the butter naan, butter chicken, chicken lollipops & chicken biryani. A good amount of spice! definitely going to try something different next time!
I've ordered takeout from Chennai Express a handful of times and have quickly settled on samosas, butter chicken, and naan as my regular order. The food is hands down DELICIOUS. It's the best Indian food I've had in Rhode Island. I highly recommend the butter chicken if you enjoy a creamy curry, it's life-changing.
I wanted to try a new spot and we were happily pleased with Chennai Express! The chili garlic naan was a standout (even had a "hot bag" to keep it warm). I was a big palak paneer fan in general and I really like the firmness of the cheese and the spices. It was different than other places I've had and I liked that (the green puree was super smooth)! Portions are two meals which is great for lunch today.
